- What's new
- ----------
- 1.7
- ---
- . Remote Control includes an address book.
-
- . A file manager has been added
- (the master machine can send and receive files from the slave machine).
-
- 1.6
- ---
- . Remote Control Server includes now new security options
- (encrypted passwords, NT authentication, ...).
-
- . Remote Control has a new scan facility, which allows to look for Remote Control Servers
- on a network.
-
- . "Remote Control Servers Localizer Server (service)" helps
- administrators using "Remote Control" to find slave machines running
- "Remote Control Server (service)".
-
- . "Remote Control Gateway" makes it possible for a machine to act as a gateway,
- thus making it possible a master machine ("Remote Control") running on a different network,
- to connect to all the "Remote Control Server (Service) " of the local area network.
- This server is useful when the method employed to establish connection between the two networks
- does not make it possible for the master machine to reach all the machines of the local area network.
